Meet the roasted bell pepper. This is a deceptively simple little treat that you could hypothetically have an assembly line if your game is especially strong. The steps are simple and materials rather cheap. Plus the colors are pretty and spruce of the aesthetics of many dishes. Salads, sandwiches, appetizers and your lover’s naked body all get a little tastier with roasted peppers on top. So what are you waiting for? Save some cash with a splash of panache.
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place the desired amount of bell peppers into a glass, metal or ceramic bowl/pan with walls that go higher than the vegetables. Roast them for approximately 45 minutes until the pepper’s skin starts to blacken and wrinkle.
Step 2
Place the roasted peppers in a plastic bag that can be tied or sealed and place in the refrigerator. Allow at least an hour for the peppers to cool down. Remove the peppers from the bag, remove the seeds and stalk, then peel the now loose skin off. Jar them whole or cut into strips and give them to your lover(s).
