Much props goes out to PRISCILLA in Charlotte, NC for this confection concoction. I first made this dessert while I was doing a CTB Home Invasion at her pad. Homegirl had so much great food to work with it was embarrassment of riches. The ladies atteneding all did agree that it was pretty damn delicious. Whodathunk such a random commingling of goods would kick such ass? The graham rammed itself down everybody’s throats with not a complaint in the mix. It’s as if it came to life, wooed each and every one of us individually, and then banged us sweetly. I want to say I was taken advantage of, perhaps violated. But that would be a lie. All witnesses can attest that I was flirting with my dessert all night. Every few minutes I’d be checking it out in the oven, fondling it, cooing sweet nothings about how banging it looked. I woke up in an empty bed with nothing but graham and coconut crumbs and a note that read: Thanks for the memories! Read the rest of this entry »
POMMELONTINI BIKINI
November 12, 2010This one goes out to all you ladies having Sex & The City parties or just having sex in the city. We all know that you sophisticated women of the world like to relax and gab out their lives with a cocktail in hand. Sure the Cosmo is the uniform drink, but me thinks there’s a room for a new contender. The Sour Apple Martini is way to tart and a regular James Bond-style martini is way too boozy and requires you to have a watch that shoots lasers. Surely there’s a happy medium that is classy, refined and the “just right” like the Little Red Riding Hood in Jimmy Choos seeks. Ladies, I present to you a simple, fast and “just right” cocktail that has made every woman I served it to just a bit classier, not to mention friskier. So whether it makes you Charlottes into Samanthas or the Mirandas into a Carries (feel free to correct me as I watched the show only once with my mother who insisted that the key to understanding women was watching Sex & The City), COOK TO BANG has you covered. COOK TO BANG HOME INVASIONS VIDEO
April 23, 2010Back in September I took Cook To Bang ON THE ROAD for a month courtesy of Jet Blue’s All-You-Can-Jet Pass. I reached out to CTB readers, old friends, old flames, and random hotties on my many flights to find gaggles of girls to cook for. The challenge was to create three-course meals using only what I found in their fridges and panties, I mean pantries. There were easy ones and total clusterfucks. I raided University of Illinois, Chicago dorm rooms for food and somehow created salad, nachos, steamed asparagus, and epic fail peanut butter cookies for 25 students. Editor extraordinaire Gary Evans edited this sizzle reel from 9½ hours of footage. Yes, that is what I look like.
You might be able to cook better if you don’t live in a dorm and just take classes from home.
CTB: HOME INVASIONS
September 9, 2009Thanks to the good people at Jet Blue who sold me the All-You-Can-Jet Pass, I’m taking COOK TO BANG on the road. For the rest of September and half of October, my ass will be cooking meals in strangers’ homes all across America.
My challenge: to create a feast with only ingredients I find in their fridge and cupboards. These exploits will be filmed and edited into something that will be, at the very least, amusing as I transform stale Cheetos and a brillo pad into a culinary masterpiece using only a hot plate. The following cities are on notice during these dates:
New York, NY – September 10-15
Miami, FL – September 16-17
New Orleans, LA – September 18-20
Denver, CO – September 22-24

Charlotte, NC – September 28-29
San Francisco, CA – OCTOBER 2-4
